Hello, I’m Pastor Kent Zimmermann.
I want to share a bit of who I am, but more about who God has called me to be; which is the vision and mission of Turning Point Ministry. My wife Candy and I have been married 40 years (she says, "one day at a time) with two wonderful adult children. I am a 2nd career pastor. In my first career, I was a Financial Analyst and Contract Negotiator for the Defense Industry. That was the first 24 years of my adult life, and the training ground for ministry. Similar to the Apostle Peter, I denied my calling from God 3 times. On the third call, I answered. My desire was to take the good of the past, combined with God’s vision for the future, blend them together to reach those who were not in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, the "Lost." My calling is to take advantage of technology and apply it to ministry in a way that makes God personal to the people of today’s society. We must speak to today’s people in today’s language. So, Turning Point is a Faith Family, not a "church." We are "Friends helping friends follow Jesus."
